Father's Day Gift Guide: Budget Friendly Gadgets

There isn't a man alive that doesn't have some strange affection for gadgets. A quirky little gadget is the perfect gift for the man who has it all, because he will love it! I especially love that gadgets come in just a broad spectrum of varieties and most importantly price points. Take my stepdad for example, he loves himself some flashlights. How many flashlights does one need, you might ask but rest assured that a brand new one that does something cool that the other's don't do is amazing in his eyes.
This Hybrid Light is the Deal of the Day on Groupon and it's perfect for a man who has a thing for gadgets. The Hybrid Light flashlights use photovoltaic cells to capture both sunlight and room light, soaking up an electron-infused eight-hour charge to prep hand-torches for hours of ghost-story telling and streetlight-staring contests. In addition, the spotlight is waterproof and floats on H2O.

Perfect for the Dad who loves to come home and drink a nice cold beer, is the Watch - Bottle Opener combination. I'm sure a gadget loving, beer drinking dad will get a kick out of this. The watch itself is simple and straight forward, but the magic lies in the clasp.
Plus for just $29.99 it's a steal! He'll be the coolest dad at the neighborhood cook-outs this summer with this watch.

Skip BBQ burns this year with the Pit Mitt! It's just $20.00 from one of my favorite Kitchen stores, William Sonoma. Designed to provide unmatched protection and versatility for home grilling, it's perfect for the "Grill Master" dad!

Pair it with the Slider Grill Basket and you have a beautiful themed Father's Day Gift for under $50.00.

Perfect Summer Eye Cream

The skin around our eyes is so delicate that it really needs to be treated with care. I hate that so many women wait until they have problems to deal with their skin issues, most commonly being the under eye and eye area. My skin gets really dry during the winter and during the summer it needs a much lighter eye product and L'BRI's Smooth n' Firm Eye Repair Gel is perfect.

Instead of being a heavy cream this is a light gel, which is great. Because the gel is created for all skin types, it's awesome whether your skin is dry or oily. L’BRI’s Smooth n’ Firm Eye Repair Gel diminishes the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles by using stabilized aloe vera as the primary ingredient, in addition to Cucumber, Coneflower extract, White Lily, Elderflower, Meadowsweet, Vitamins A, C, E. Plus, aloe vera is my summer time go to ingredient for everything so it's great to see it featured in a mainstream beauty product.

Father's Day Gift Guide - Bath & Body Products

Typically, when I think of Father's Day gift ideas I immediately start thinking about power tools, drill bits, BBQ accessories, and car wash kits but I really don't know much at all about those things especially power tools and drill bits. So instead, I turn my focus to something I know a little bit about all while finding something different that he will love.

The male grooming products industry has sky rocketed but I blame it on the metrosexuals, when is the last time you saw a "father" like figure looking around a bath and body type store for the perfect body wash? Right. So with that being said, I think dad just uses whatever mom buys or whatever is left behind in the shower. It gets the job done and usually pretty well, but from personal experience my stepdad loves getting his own bath and body products because it's something he actually uses and it's something he would never buy himself.

(Molton Brown Men's Stowaway 2011, $65 MoltonBrown.com)

With it's waterproof toiletry bag and travel sized version on Molton Brown's best selling body washes including the Re-Charge Black Pepper, Bracing Silverbirch, and Cool Buchu, face wash, supershave, and moisturizer this is perfect for the dad on the go.

(Lab Series Grooming on the go, $25 LabSeries.com)

Another great brand for Men's products, Lab Series. I actually had my boyfriend try some of the products and he liked them. I tried to get him to do a full fledged review, but in typical male fashion he has the following to say, "I like them, they are good." That was it! I tried to get more information, but you know how men are. Anyway, this kit has Multi-Action Face Wash, Daily Moisture Defense Lotion SPF15, Age Rescue Eye Therapy, Maximum Comfort Shave Cream, and 3-in-1 Post Shave, plus it comes with the bag.
