A New Year Diet to Skip

My friend came to me, excited and ready to share some news: she was starting a new thing to help her lose weight. Here is a little bit of info on my friend, she's average size and height and she doesn't need to lose more than 5-8 pounds. What diet was she starting? The Acai Berry Diet pill. I was excited because she volunteered to track her progress and keep me updated so I could share it with you guys. About a week later, here is the email I got from her, "this diet pretty much sucks. I ate pretty much the same way and lost about 1 pound. That's not the sucky part. They have this cleanse pill you're supposed to take in the even to help clean out your colon. Umm, the stomach pains at work and the immediate need to go the bathroom is not what I would recommend for weight loss. After a week, I couldn't take it anymore. " So if you are looking for a way to lose weight for 2011, I'd skip the Acai Berry Diet.

Winter Legs

As soon as shorts season is over I must admit, I get really lax about shaving my legs. When my legs are exposed I have to shave every single day at least because my leg hair grows super duper fast. Really, I could shave in the morning and by bed time I'm shredding the sheets with my stubble.
