Trésor Midnight Rose by Lancome

Inspired by the cobblestone streets of Paris, Trésor Midnight Rose embodies a mischievous sense of femininity. The sweet floral, created by perfumer Anne Flipo, is encased in a faceted bottle that blushes powder pink to violet, with an elegant satin rosette at the neck. The notes of raspberry, rose, vanilla and sensual musk combine for a seductive candied scent.

I have to say that once I read the notes of this scent I was intrigued.  Raspberry, vanilla, and sensual musk? Sounded great, but the one scent that was throwing me off was the rose.  I absolutely hate the scent of rose.  However, I'm pleased to say that after trying this scent I do not smell the rose at all and the scent is quickly becoming one of my favorites.  It's sweet but not overly done and it's extremely girly which I love in a scent.

Here are the official notes of Trésor Midnight Rose:
  • Tangy notes of raspberry add sparkle to petals of jasmine and peony freshened by blackcurrant bud absolute and intense pink pepper
  • Deep, intense ribbons of rose absolute form the familiar middle notes of Trésor
  • Voluptuous vanilla mingles with musk and Virginia cedar essence for a captivating dry down
