Festive Scents for Every Room the Home
Candles are my favorite home accent, not only does the flicker of light look great the scents are amazing. Slatkin & Co. makes some awesome festive scents that not only smell nice they are super affordable too. Pumpkin Caramel Latte - A frothy blend of creamy pumpkin, sweet vanilla cream and rich pralines topped with a spiced caramel swirl. Apple Crumble - Baked Granny Smith and McIntosh Apples topped with vanilla crumble, cinnamon and nutmeg. Both of these scents best placed in the kitchen or dining room.
For the bedroom, Spice - A warm, comforting blend of red hot cinnamon, warm clove and spiced orange peel and Winter Wonderland - A sparkling blend of cool peppermint and fiery cinnamon with notes of crisp apple and creamy nutmeg are perfect because cinnamon, cloves and spices are more commonly found in bedrooms as a way to aid in relaxation and sleep.
Since the living room is where you entertain the most, Marshmallow Fireside is the perfect scent to cuddle on the couch with the smell of toasted marshmallows and sweet vanilla cream wrapped in the aroma of rich smoldering woods lingering in the background.
Now for the bathroom, the goal here is to cover up any unpleasant scents and still keep the room smelling nicely. Fresh Balsam is perfect since crisp, clean balsam fir blends delightfully with fresh eucalyptus and sweet pine layered with notes of bright apple, cedarwood and musk. Strong but clean is the goal here.
