Eyebrow Enhancement

I have to say I inherited my unruly brows from my dad, thanks dad!  For years, I begged my mom to do something with those brows while I was growing up.  Finally, I was allowed to get my brows done.  I've had my eyebrows shaped by a few different methods, such as a straight razor, tweezing, waxing, and threading.  Threading has become my favorite method for shaping my brows.  I prefer a thicker look over a thinner look for my own eyebrows but I do have some thin areas that I correct with makeup.  I have adopted and modified Miss L. Bailey's eyebrow technique for filling and enhancing.

Here's how I do it:

Step 1:  Prime eye area using ybf Primer, this is an optional step but I like the way this primer seems to smooth evenly and it has a built in sponge applicator that makes it easy to apply.

Step 2:  Fill in sparse areas using ybf eyebrow pencil.  I like this pencil because on one end is the pencil and the other has a wand to brush eyebrows into place.  The brush also helps blend in the color from the pencil.

Step 3:  I trace under my eyebrow with a concealer that is lighter than my skin tone.  Miss L. Bailey does this over and under her brows, but I like to just do it underneath.  It acts like a highlighter and conceals sparse hairs if you are in-between threading sessions.  I blend it out so it doesn't look so obvious.

The goal is for my eyebrows to just look naturally better.  I don't want them to look drawn on or to look obviously filled in with pencil.  Some days this is the only makeup I have on my face and I have to say over all it makes a big difference.
