Skin Care Challenge
Skin care is an essential part of the beauty lifestyle and when I say beauty lifestyle I mean it. Beauty is a lifestyle, it spills over into what you eat, how you choose to live your life, and what you do all effect a persons beauty. My main focus is always skin care. Sure makeup is the more fun of the two, but skin care has a more lasting effect.
Naturally glowing skin is always going to look better than a face full of foundation, concealer, and bronzer that creates a faux glow. Which is why I challenge all my readers to make a change in their bad skin habits. If you don't alway wash your face before bed, trying doing it religiously for a month and see the difference it makes in your skin. Are you not consistent with your skin care regimen? Buckle down and get it together for a full two-three months. I promise you will see a change if you are using the correct products for your skin and are consistently using them.
With skincare consistency is the key. We will in a society that focuses on and praises instant gratification, but skin care takes time. Think about it this way, an eighty year old woman doesn't just wake up one day with a face full of wrinkles. It takes years to get to that point. So why should a skin care regimen erase your face full of problems with one use? The bottom line is it won't and if you are expecting it to then you are a fool. Sorry to be so blunt, but it's the truth. People go from skin care regimen to skin care regimen within weeks to months wondering why nothing works for their skin. Well hello beautiful, you didn't give it time to work!

September 3, 2011 5:06 AM I loved reading this post and I would love to take part in the challenge. I have finally found a skin care regimen that works for me, so my goal is to be consistent. I've been steady with it for over a month but I hope to keep it going!
Thanks for sharing this! :)

My goal is to drink more water, everyday. Some days I go without drinking 1 glass of water!
September 3, 2011 5:34 PM What would you recommend as a framework for a good skin care regimen? I have finally formalized my hair regimen and would love to do the same for my skin.
