Fab Home Must Have: Nest Candles

At my last laser appointment, the moment I stepped into the laser room I was quickly and completely relaxed. The reason? A Nest candle was flicking away, completely filling the room with it's wonderful aroma. Now usually, the waiting area of Beam Laser Spa always has a wonderful scent, very clean, very fresh, and just plain lovely. But when you step into the 'treatment' room it has a hint of chinged hair, nothing drastic but it's there. Especially if you're like me and arrive to all your appointments early because on time is late. This last time was a nice change, the Nest candle made a huge difference. Of course that feeling of sheer relaxation was ended abrutly with the first ZAP! of the laser.

Clear Correct Braces Update


It's been a while since I've written about my Clear Correct braces. Yes, the quest for perfect teeth is still in full effect. In the beginning, I was really good with wearing my trays for the recommended 22 hours a day. Yes, 22 hours every single day, basically you only remove your trays to eat and brush your teeth. Then, I sort of fell off the wagon. Taking them out, putting them in, taking them out again, it got old - really fast. Fast forward to now and I'm wearing them for about 20-22 hours a day again, why? Because I'm ready to be done with this already. Plus more importantly, my dentist explained that when you don't follow the rules your teeth are moving back and forth which is no good. For my specific case, I have about 21-22 trays to go through (you wear 1 tray for 2 weeks) and I'm only on tray 8. I really should be further along but when you don't keep them in like you are supposed to you have to wear them for longer.
I totally plan on updating you guys more frequently, this way hopefully it'll give me some motivation to make some progress here ... so stay tuned.

Essie + L'Oreal


So I've sure you've heard the news about Essie and L'Oreal. If not, L'Oreal has purchased Essie! I'm curious what kind of changes are going to go down over at Essie. I'm hoping nothing changes as far as the formula's, bottle design including the brush, and creative punchy color selection. What I would like to see is something that could rival OPI Axxium! How amazing would that be, a gel polish from Essie?!?
