Beyonce Turns up the Heat
Last night, Beyoncé toasted the launch of her first fragrance, Beyoncé Heat, with family and friends. She was joined by Hubby Jay-Z, Usher, Michelle Williams, Sherri Shepherd and sister Solange Knowles, who dj-ed for the guests, to celebrate her latest venture.
The old Tiffany & Co. building outside of Union Square was transformed to capture the spirit of the new scent. The outside was illuminated in fiery red lights, infusing the scene with a steamy, sexy aura that embodies Beyoncé’s unique appeal.
I have to say that I've sampled the scent and I'm not wowed by it, to be completely honest I don't like it. The bottle is cool and reminds me a little bit of a genie bottle, but the scent is just not fabulous. What to know the notes?
Heat opens with magnolia, neroli and red vanilla orchid mixed with blush peach. At the heart of the scent you'll find, almond macaroon, honeysuckle nectar and crème de musk. Finally, sequoia milkwood, tonka bean and amber linger.
