Dear Benefit Cosmetics,

I love your brand of cosmetics, from the adorable packaging to the cute products names to the glamorous "mascot" ladies and everything in between. But there is something that's been bothering me and although I haven't been able to get it off my chest before, I think you need to know. I am a brown skinned beauty and every time you launch a new blush, I get my hopes all up thinking finally this will be the one for me and my fellow brown skinned beauties. I trek to the nearest Benefit counter (or Sephora), anticipation building as I get nearer, only to swatch and nothing. Okay, maybe not nothing, maybe I'll see some sparkles or worse an ashen look but the effect is nothing like the fair skinned ladies get. So Benefit, stop getting my hopes up only to be dashed when the blush fades into my skin without a hint of fabulousness, make a blush for us brown skinned ladies, something just as fabulous on our skin as it is in the tiny little box. & while you're at it can we have a ethnic "mascot" lady too?
