Summer is almost over, you know what that means. Back to school, cooler weather, and it's time to switch up your scent. Back to School Scents is a fall fragrance guide, so without further ado here are the top scents for men for Fall 2009.


Kenzo Power Eau de Toilette Spray - A new fragrance for men, built on an imaginary flower with a heart of woody, ambery notes. Simple and striking; modern and masculine. A fragrance of opposites. Refinement, obvious strength without ostentation. This 60ml eau de toilette spray is housed in a metalized glass bottle designed by famed Japanese designer Kenya Hara. This is my personal favorite, I love it when my boyfriend wears this scent. It's masculine yet there is a hint of soft somewhere in the scent.

Diesel Only The Brave Eau de Toilette Spray - a magnetic duality connecting the warmth and masculinity of lemon and leather with the energy of amber and cedar wood. Very masculine scent with a hint of lemon-y freshness. This is more of an early fall scent to me, not much of a winter scent because of the citrus hints, nonetheless I'm still a fan.

Givenchy Play Intense - New from Givenchy and featuring Justin Timberlake in the ad's is Givency Play, but Play Intense is the scent that won over my nares.  With top notes of Bergamot and Mandarin it was an instant hit with me.  Middle notes are Amyris Wood, Pink Pepper, and Coffee Flower.  Base notes include Labdanum, Tonka Bean, and Vetiver.
