Summer Ready Hair
I know we normally don't dish about hair here, I save everything hair related for The Anti Hair Slave... but how could I do a Summer Ready Series without something on hair?
The summer months can be brutal on your hair, especially if it's chemically treated. Keep your hair in tip top shape while sporting the season's hottest hair trends this Spring and Summer.
Trim
Keeping you ends healthy is the best way to protect your hair during the summer months when you are frocklicking in the sand, sun, and waves. If your hair is already damaged the summer can reck havoc, just trim it off and avoid a major cut once summer is over.
Condition
I deep condition my hair weekly, but if you don't you might want to start. Deep conditioning provides intense moisture and can help maintain and promote healthy hair. One of my favorite hair conditioners is Miss Keys 10 en 1 Conditioner, it's a Dominican conditioner that works wonders for my hair.
Sun ProtectionSun Protection is not just for your skin, your hair can also be damaged by the rays of the sun. Paul Mitchell Halo Shine Spray not only provides great shine it also provides sun protection for your hair.
Swimming
Nana Essence makes a great line of hair care products especially created to help you keep your strands in tip top condition even while enjoying the benefits of having a pool or being close to the ocean. Always remember to at the very least rinse out salt water and chlorine as soon as you get out of the water.Styles
My favorite summer hair styles are updos. Low maintance, loose, and easy to do. HairZings are great for styling thick, airdried, natural or relaxed hair.
Color Treated Tips
