Everlasting French Nails

If you read Beauty Blvd. then you know I'm a nurse so I'm prohibited from wearing false nails to work. So I had my mom (who is a total tomboy) try out the Everlasting French Nail kit from Kiss. She is a true tomboy, so I was shocked to come home from work and have her show me these perfectly applied nails, that looked so natural and pretty. If you're like me when you think of drugstore nails, you think thick completely unnatural looking talons. So these Kiss nails have taken me completely by surprise.

The Everlasting French Nail Kits will be available in May 2009 and they feature a brand new technology in artifical nails. "The bonded layers in the manufacturing process of this new nail create the most durable French nail ever, that won’t chip - guaranteed. The white tips of previous French nails often chipped within 3-4 days of excessive wear and tear. But the new plastic tip is now made with white molding, instead of air-brushing, so chipping is impossible." Plus, they are amazingly thin so there is no bulk ontop of your nail. My mom loves them, she says they are a definietly must buy product and for $5.99 why not?!? The kit comes with everything you need to have a perfect manicure - 24 Nails in 12 sizes, 2g Glue, Mini-File, and a Manicure Stick.

Those really look great, I would have never guessed they weren't done at a nail salon

Your mom's nails look amazing! They look fresh out of a salon.

I really like the KISS nail line, but I generally use their self-adhesive nail tips. There's something about putting nail glue directly on my nails that weirds me out! I'm so afraid of nail damage.

I'm definitely going to get those when they debut in Chicago - they look fantastic!

    Interesting content.

Just wanted to share some information that may help busy professionals caught up with work and who have less time to maintain their nails. You can try out gel nails which are now becoming a hot favorite as they are natural looking even without nail tips and the best way for nail enhancement. Also, if you are allergic to those strong smelling chemicals which you can experience with acrylic nails, then you should use gel nails as these are odorless.

However, when you are planning on gel nail application, make sure you approach a nail salon or a nail artist who is well versed with gel nails and is properly trained and mastered in gel applications. This will save you from problems that can arise with improper gel nail applications.

I have tried the other Kiss nails with much success. I will definitely have to try these. I had been getting professional 'gel' nails for years and got sick of them hurting me every time. and YES, they were supposedly 'professionals' doing the work. The drills they used to file ruined my nails, and they hurt me every time with that thing. I was just sick of it. These are a great and PAINLESS alternative - they look very natural and nobody can even tell that they aren't your natural nails. I highly recommend them!
