Elizabeth Arden Mineral Foundation

Elizabeth Arden has just released it's brand new foundation. It's a mineral powder with an SPF of 20 that's guaranteed to be fresh each time you use it. Basically, it's "a new mineral makeup that takes the mess out of loose powder mineral makeup and gives you the purest, non-drying, perfect application." It promises to be neat and easy to use since it comes in an easy grinder compact so you control just the amount of coverage you need. Turn to release a fresh layer of microlight powder with each application and grind precisely the amount you want to use. No more powder everywhere. I'm really excited to try it out especially since it comes in brown skinned friendly colors.

February 5, 2009 7:35 PM although I am not a fan of those puffs/poofs, i do like the sound of the grinder! i wonder if it is all natural?
the colors look great too! I am white but most colors turn too pink on me. I am more on the yellow tan side and not exactly an easy match!
GOOD find! i haven't seen anyone else post about this!
February 5, 2009 8:31 PM I don't think it's all natural but the formula is talc free and fragrance free. It is non-acnegenic, non-comedogenic and tested for sensitive skin. Hope that helps.
February 5, 2009 11:32 PM This sounds promising. I'd splurge on this mineral makeup if it performed well and left little to no mess. Can't wait to hear what you think!
March 21, 2009 1:43 PM I personally love organic foundations and natural cosmetics because the thought of absorbing all of the chemicals into my skin does not interest me. The typical woman absorbs over five pounds of chemicals through her skin into her body from makeup.
April 28, 2009 11:54 AM The new mineral foundation from Elizabeth Arden sounds lie a very good make-up base. I would surely like to try it out some time. :-)
