Black Lip Gloss
Here is a beauty trend that I'm a tad bit scared of: Black lipstick and lipgloss. It brings back memories of harshly lined black lips filled in with clear gloss or some type of gold lipstick. That really was a look that I was glad to see go far far away. Now with Kat Von D and YSL coming out with black for lips I'm a bit taken back. Sure it might look chic on a runway but how does that translate to real life? For now I'll stick to my Clinique Black Honey which looks dangerous in the tube but slides on leaving a beautiful glossy almost flushed look to my lips. So now here's the real question, Ladies who's going to be pucking up with black gloss or lipstick on their lips? Inquiring minds are dying to know!

November 10, 2008 9:21 AM I can do the black nails but I'm not too sure about the black lips. Perhaps maybe if I were stepping out for the night and it fit w/ my "look" I'd do it.
I used to have a lip glass from MAC that looked black in the tube, but when you put it on it was sheer and gave your lips a slight raisin-ish sheer colored shine. Can't remember the name though :-/
November 10, 2008 11:23 AM That's a no indefinitely for me...I hated the whole black lip liner phase too. I do love browns and cocoas though. Black is just do dang dramatic for me.

November 11, 2008 1:56 PM This is so Rihanna! Besides her, Madonna, and Christina Aguilera...i'm not quite sure ANYONE can pull it off! It looks great on the runway model though...
