Please do not be put off by the blue color, this lip gloss is amazing! It is blue because the blue microcrystals counteract any yellow in the teeth to make them appear whiter. The gloss goes on completely clear and just gives shine to the lips, there is no blue color visible at all. My favorite thing about this lip gloss is that it lasts all day. Recently, I wore it on my lips to brunch with my boyfriend and it last throughout the entire brunch ( I had 2 eggs, toast, taylor ham, a cinnamon bun, and a few bites of his pancakes) I was surprised that my lips were still glossy! I didn't reapply any, then we went shopping for the rest of the afternoon and later that I night I realized that my lips were still glossy. I was totally shocked because I never had a lipgloss last that long and longivity is not even one of the selling points of this gloss.
