Beautiful Base
Beautiful make-up needs a beautiful base. Finding the perfect base make-up can be extremely hard, especially for women on color. A perfect shade that blends right in with your skin color does not have to cost a lot of money, so a trip to the department store is not your only option. Drugstore make-up is becoming more and more customizable and the quality has improved over the years.

That photo is of me holding up the transparent film that has each color from the True Match line on it. You hold up the film in front of your face, then look into the mirror to see which color disappears against your skin color. Voila, you have found your perfect shade. Couldn't be easier right? Well actually you could just have perfect skin, but that's a whole other post. :-)

October 16, 2008 9:14 AM Wow, I am soooo glad you posted this! That is the makeup I was looking for the other day but I couldn't think of what it was...who made it..blah blah blah. It's about time somebody put up the transparent..I'm forever getting a shade too dark or too light.
October 16, 2008 10:02 AM Which shade did you get Joi? I looked at this a few times in Duane Reade but put it down after not knowing which one to choose.
October 16, 2008 10:10 AM I've heard about this from time to time.. But i'm so confused.. I don't know what shade to get.. Now the question is do they have for darker skinned ladies...
Nice site you have here...
October 16, 2008 12:47 PM Great Post! It's nice to see a brand that lets you customize your own shade. But I hope that they are making the shades for all skin tones...from dark brown to light brown.
